DM: Before I leave for the location of a soundbath, I clear myself with either one, or a combination of, the following: taking a shower and visualizing the clearing my auric field and chakras; forgiveness and gratitude affirmations; chanting Angel and Violet Flame affirmations; meditation; vocal toning; saging myself; holding select crystals (usually selenite or kyanite); Falun Gong exercises; ten-minute breathwork. Once I am clear to receive, I ask what is required for the optimum messages, journey, and well-being for the earth, the waters, the sky, the cosmos, the location, the spirits, the ancestors, and the physical people present.
At the location for the soundbath, I tune into the space introducing my intention of well-being for all involved and from that I'm usually guided to where I will set up the crystal bowls and accessories. I invoke the angels to be present. Then I feel if the space requires clearing or harmonizing with my energy either via spoken word, mental conversation, vocal toning, smudging, tuning forks, or meditation. Then I say my personal prayer, enabling me to be a clear and honest channel for empowerment and highest good for all attending and surrounding. Once the person or people are present, I require that we all give permission with our own breath to release whatever is not ours or no longer serves us. This is important. Then I feel the group and ask mentally, “What do your minds, bodies, and souls require?” Then to my soul and spirit I ask mentally, “What can We do for Us?” Then I wait and listen.
Do I invoke connection to earth and spirit and protection aloud or mentally? Do I begin with spoken guidance to assist with relaxation and meditation or do I keep silent and let the instruments guide our journey? Do I guide the soundbath with voice or with instrument(s) or both? Feeling the love of the angels and spirits, I let flow that which I feel is best to invite the appropriate vibrations. And that wonderful soothing love of the angels is what I hope to share with the people present and the earth. Sound is just as precious as any silence in between. And yet with no perceived sound, there is still vibration. The loving compassionate vibration is my intention to keep everyone attuned for hope, strength, and healing. Throughout the soundbath is an energetic and spiritual conversation where I'm constantly asking what is needed and providing vibrational feedback based on how everyone is doing. It's a constant back and forth as I weave in and out of the dimensions of spirit and of the material.
